During his first term in office, Representative Richardson filed a bill calling for stricter oversight at the Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, including the establishment of an Office of Inspector General.  The language of this bill was included in an omnibus insurance bill and today we have an Inspector General at the Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.  In the 2014 Legislative Session, Representative Richardson passed legislation authorizing public health trusts to lease certain real property, requested funds for several local projects and expanded opportunities for retail pharmacies.
