Government
 

The City of North Bay Village has a Commission/City Manager form of government.

City Commission

Residents elect a mayor and four commissioners each even-numbered year. The city commission has the responsibility of enacting, amending and sometimes repealing the ordinances that govern North Bay Village. The City has term limits of three consecutive terms for the mayor and commissioners.

City Staff

The City Manager and staff are responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the city.

Commission Meetings

Commission meetings are normally held the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at the City Hall. Meetings are open to the public. The meetings are also broadcast live on Charter Communications cable television, Channel 20.

A calendar of all meetings, including meetings of City Boards, is available each month at City Hall.
