A much-anticipated addition to the City’s business community has opened at 1624 Kennedy Causeway. Edy’s Chicken & Steak has brought its popular Peruvian-accented menu from Falls Church, Virginia to North Bay Village. The cuisine includes Rotisserie chicken, steak a la brasa, sandwiches and a wide array of Peruvian side orders and tempting desserts. Complete dinners range in price from $7 to $17.
The atmosphere is bright and open and the walls decorated with South American art. A separate entrance leads to a cafe-style coffee and dessert bar with exotic tropical ice cream flavors, such as passion fruit, mamy, mango, coconut. lucuma and dulce de leches.
What attracted owner Edy Carlson to NBV? It seems the magic touch with restaurants runs in her family. Her brother is North Bay Island-resident Yuth Knattongcome, the founder and owner of the local Sushi Siam chain of restaurants.
