Home-Based Occupational Licenses
North Bay Village allows certain types of non-customer businesses in residential districts. To avoid parking problems and other disturbances, these home-based businesses must conform to numerous restrictions, including:
- no goods or services of any kind sold or transferred to a customer on premises;
- no signs or displays;
- no more than 25 percent of gross living space devoted to the business;
- no vehicle or pedestrian traffic associated with business;
- no inventory of more than 32 square feet and
- no noise, vibrations, fumes, dust, waste or chemicals.
You must be a permanent resident of North Bay Village to apply and an affidavit is required.
