| Citizen’s Crime Watch Meets |
Residents overflowed from the former City Hall offices as they learn how they can protect themselves and their families from crime.
Attendees of the Citizen’s Crime Watch meeting heard crime prevention tips ranging from lighting and landscaping to securing locks to preventing identify theft.
In addition to the North Bay Village Police Department several other law enforcement agencies participated, including Surfside and Aventura and the Police Explorer Unit from Miami-Dade Intercoastal Station, led by Officer Al Perez. |

| Children’s Orchestra Performs at City Hall |
The soothing sounds of classical music filled the City Commission chambers prior to a recent meeting as students from Treasure Island Elementary performed a musical recital to the delight of parents, elected officials and staff.
Elected officials enjoy the recital as music teacher Elie Regnier (back to camera) directs the students. Under the direction of Treasure Island’s music teacher Elie Regnier, the 22 young musicians played three pieces of music on their instruments in front of a standing room only crowd. The students were fourth, fifth and sixth-graders.
